To the Marek family:
First I would like to extend condolences to the Marek family on the loss of their father; he must have lived an amazing and full life.
I personally do not remember ever meeting Mr. Marek but our dad, Fritz H. Hacker used to talk about the "Marek boys" all the time, this would have been when I was a little kid back in the '60's. Dear Marek Family, The Ernest & Della Mendel Family extend our sincere condolences. Some of our fondest memories were going to the Marek's lake and watching our dads try and waterski! I'm sure our dad and "Big John" are drinking a beer together and talking about old times. Mr Marek's contribution to our city will live on to benefit generations in the future. What a wonderful legacy he left for his family!
