John F. Marino, 90 of Waterbury passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by the love and comfort of his family. He was the beloved husband of Irena E. (Fusco) Marino.

John was born in Waterbury on July 28, 1927 a son of the late Paul and Anna (DePalma) Marino. Prior to his retirement in 1990, John was employed as a trucker at Bristol Babcock Manufacturing in Watertown where he worked for over 25 years. He was a communicant of SS Peter & Paul Church. He was a diehard NY Mets fan and enjoyed Western stories and long walks. 

Besides his wife of 64 years of Waterbury, he leaves two sons, Joseph J. Marino of Thomaston, Ricky P. Marino of Wolcott, one brother, James Marino of Wolcott, one sister, Helen Capaldo of Waterbury, five grandchildren, Jonathan, Sandra, Jason, Christina, and Ryan, five great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. He was predeceased by two brothers, Edward Marino and Paul Marino. 

Arrangements: His funeral will be on Monday, July 16, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. from Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury CT to SS. Peter & Paul Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. A calling hour will be held on Monday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
