Not sure what to say?

Happy Birthday John, We miss you !

One of the many game I work with Whitey was at Glendale HS vs Hoover HS Baseball. In the 4th inning the Hoover coach did not like Whitey call, "thats the WORST Call I've ever seen" rants the coach. Whitey calls "TIME" grabs his book he kept in his top pocket, and proceeds to write something down. When the Hoover coach approches him to ask "what are you doing" Whitey tells him..."I'm making note of THIS play, and if I see a WORSE call in the future I will call you and tell you"
WE all...

wow, its hard to believe the first person i worked with in popwarner football 9yrs ago is gone. I remeber that day all so well and Whitey really treated me as good friend. RIP whitey and wear them angels wings like you wore your uniform.

My first game with Whitey was on the Bronco Field at West Hills. The third pitch of the game he was hit and I called time.I asked him if he was alright and he said "I'm fine". After that when we did games together,I always worried about him getting hit.We talked about alot of things and all the kids and adults loved him and showed their respect towards him. He always had a smile and something funny to say.You will truly be missed my friend.Rest in Peace.

Whitey was one of my very first basketball partners. It was always fun working with him. He was a great parnter and amazing person. He will be missed!

I had the honor of working my first high school game with Whitey. I was so nervous, but he did his best to put me at ease. Whitey said as long as you point me in the right direction and don't let me forget where we are going, everything will be fine. After several minutes of laughter, we had a great game and my career had begun.

We'll miss you Whitey.
