i was saddened to hear about jack OD... i was in Vietnam with him, in the same platoon. he was the bravest person that i had the pleasure of meeting. we went on many, many patrols together, either ambush, recon, road runner or in the jungle on our "tracks"... i was right behind OD when he hit that mine as we came out of Gia Ray. I'll never forget that day. none of us knew if he was dead or not... I thank god that jack was there to lead us.. that was a real scary time in our life... I salute...
