Jack was one of the nicest people I ever had the privilege of knowing. When I was just getting started in the Rockford area art scene he often gave me an encouraging comment.

Occasionally (when Jack must have been too busy) I had clients give me an assignment, adding, "Do something nice like Jack Peterson."

Long after he moved away from Rockford, Jack sent me more recent examples of his work. I have a large file of it.
