My most sincere sympathy in the loss of these two wonderful people. I consider it a blessing to have grown up and known them from school days to now. I pray for strength for each of you in the coming days. Leota Stocking-Brown (Class of 1956-Carnegie High School)

Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Tena &Larry, Cheryl, Greg &Dana and families. Loved Uncle John and Aunt Betty and all of you too, even tho we have not got to visit much through the years due to distance, working and life. Sorry for that! Mama always called Uncle John her little brother and she loved him so much. She always said he was such a good husband, dad, and grandad. We have always had the utmost respect for him as he steped in to support both of his sisters when their husbands died and the way he became like a surrogate dad for Karen and Mark when their dad passed is an inspiration to be modeled. I visited with Aunt Betty on Sunday and even tho she was heartbroken, she gave thanks saying that She and John had had such a blessed life and so many, many things to be thankful for. She talked about you guys and was so proud how you all stepped up to handle everything. (They taught you well.) She talked about her grandchildren and great grands. She said,"I am giving you an air hug like Blair always says." We cried, laughed and talked about the big reunion in heaven that John was having with his mom ,dad, sisters and of course Nicki their beloved dog.
I try to think of it like they were together for most every day of their life since they were teens and only had to be apart for about six days on earth before being reunited in heaven. Love you all very much.
