Dear Reilly Family, Father Reilly was a wonderful person. I worked with Father many years while he was at Loyola University Chicago Lewis Towers and shared his company at many Loyola basketball games. May he rest in piece.

John will be missed! Dennis and Mary Ann McDermott had the pleasure of accompanying John on his first trip to Rome in 1980 with an LU Alum group headed by Bob Monks and his wife…what fun we had with lots of stories to repeat over the years…also more recently comparing stories about knee surgery…and a bit of Irish ancestry.

Fr. Reilly was a kind, funny, street smart man. He touched many people and the world is a little worse off now that he is gone. RIP.
