To Charlotte and the entire Reilly family, I am very sorry to learn of JJ's passing. He was a good man and without a doubt the best fire department dispatcher ever. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. He and My Father, Bernie Welz were partner's in crime. My Father and our whole family loved John very much. Please know that you and the whole family are in our prayers.

John Reilly and Charlotte were always such wonderful friends to both my father and also my mother. Both are now passed. Mr Reilly actually saved my father's life. My father was also a Springfield firefighter. On one unfortunate occasion when their group was trying to fight an unusually difficult fire, my father succumbed to smoke inhalation and was having a hard time getting out of the building. John actually carried my father out of the burning building, saving his life. My family is so...

I had the honor to work with J J at dispatch during my career on the fire department. We had so much fun and laughed our butts off watching W.C. Fields movies. He was a special man and I offer Charlotte and John's family my deepest sympathies at this very difficult time. May he rest in glory.
