John A. Rinyu passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown at the age of 62.
Born in Trenton, NJ, son of the late Elizabeth (Zaja) and Nicholas Rinyu, and raised in Hamilton, NJ, John was a 1976 graduate of Hamilton High School West. He has been a Falls Township resident for the past 32 years.
For most of his working career he was employed in construction in New Jersey and was a member of Heavy and General Laborers Local 172 in Bordentown, NJ.
John enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson heritage classic softail motorcycle and was an avid dog lover.
He would always be there for those who needed anything.
Beloved husband of 43 years to Linda M. (nee Grainger), he was the loving father of Jesse (Holly J. Freundlich) and Joann Rinyu and of his honorary son, John Miller (Christina Schaffer) and their child, Dylan.
He is the dear brother of Helen Stetson (Bill), Patricia Rinyu, Barbara Williams (William) and Nicholas Rinyu.
John will also be sadly missed by his brother-in-law, Steven Grainger (Gail) and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, January 19, 2020, from 12:30 until 2:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm. Interment will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in John's name may be made to Chandler Hall Health Services, 99 Barclay Street, Newtown, PA 18940.
