Not sure what to say?

Dear Sandy,& family,

I went to Milford High school with John, Please accept my heart felt condolences.

It is sad for me too to see him pass. Our prayers are with you God be with you. Bill Snedden

I just learned of Jack's passing today(Dec 15, 2017), and this date is now one of the saddest I will always remember. It is always difficult when some you know well is lost, but the pain is particularly keen when that someone was your best friend while you were both growing up together as young boys, from the 6th grade through high school in 1957. I could fill up at least a small book recalling some of the crazier things we did, but now all I can do is say ...Farewell Jack, calm seas and...

Dear Sandy , So sorry to hear about Jacks passing ! We go back many years , use to trade comic books when we lived on Willow St. in Milford Ct. . RIP my Friend. Dick Sweeney , Alpine Ca. [email protected]

Dear Sandy, Danielle, & Kenneth, Jack was my boss when we developed the GPS receiver. He was the perfect kind of boss - always there for us - driving the truck at 3am when the GPS satellites were up, buying beer to celebrate any minor success, and always shielding the troops from the management BS. I particularly admired his calm when things did not go as planned. I know you will miss him & I am glad for the fond memories I have.

Dear Sandy and family Liza and I are sorry for your loss. I am proud to say I am one of his famed class of '61 "never outdone" mates. We worked through 4 long and sometimes difficult years at CGA then went our separate ways. He was a proud husband, father, grand dad, and good friend. I loved Jack like a brother. He was in my Academy company for all 4 years. He was a comrade in peace and a comrade in service. God bless him and all the souls of the faithful departed. Hand...

Danielle and family,
We are so sorry to hear of your family's loss. We are praying that you all feel God's comfort and encouragement during this difficult time. It sounds like Jack was a very interesting and wonderful man. Mike, Jen, and Aislinn Henry

I am proud to be one of Jack's "long-lasting" friends in the "Never Outdone" Class of 1961. We were together on Day #1 and in classes, cruises, and making mischief, and I consider Jack one of my closest Academy friends. Maureen and I extend our deepest sympathy to you and your family.
Love, Dick Appelbaum

Dear Sandy, Danielle, Kenneth and Family, we are so sorry for your loss, but will always treasure Jack's laugh and good-natured jabs to make us smile or think a little deeper. Fair winds and following seas, my friend. Dave and Donna McGrew

Dear Sandy and Family,
Bucky and I send our condolences and hope that you find comfort in the arms of family and friends, and in joyful memories, too.... my favorite one was when Jack sang the John Jacob Niles folk tune "I Wonder as I Wander" on New Year's Eve, all those many years ago.
Big Hugs
