so sorry to learn,just today, of your loss ..We knew John since 1973 when we moved in next door. My son Logan shared John's birthday ! My 3 sons were in awe of John,esp when he got his cool car ! the pictures and videos brought back lots of sweet memories.,and I loved the note from Neal. now Logan has 2 little boys, Michael has a son and daughter, and Loyal has a son...so I am a busy, happy grandma ,still in my little house ! (with the huge yard !!) our best to you and Rachel..

John was the real deal. Always.

He was a great friend at school (RUHS). I was a little geeky guy at school who he helped get a job at Red's Bait & Tackle wrapping rods. Pulling me into the fishing addiction along with him. He was always eager to help others enjoy the sport. Ready to teach and show somebody how much fun it could be.

I knew him in the 70s. We had many friends in common. So sad to learn of this. Say hi to wayne old friend...

John was my best friend growing up, I lived across the street, in the video of John growing up I am the kid on the left (5th Birthday) and on the right (High school Grad) we did everything together fishing at the break water, riding bikes, skatebroading, body surfing and going to school. One of my better memories of growing up was John and I bet are dads we could beat them playing baseball, now we were about fourteen and they were older, the game was played at South school just the four of us...
