Not sure what to say?

Today I called you my friend and I received a recording that the phone was disconnected or change.I said to my brother Bob that something didn't seem right. Tonight I was praying and it seem that God was telling me that you went home to be with your mom and dad. So I decided to Google your name and you came up on the obituary. My heart is crushed because tonight I found out that I lost one of my best friend. Jack I am sorry I will miss you my friend.the person I am today is partially because...

I am so sorry for your loss and to hear of Jack's passing. I worked with him when I was fresh out of xray school and the 7 years I worked at WPH.
He was a mentor and a teacher to me. He exuded compassion and professionalism to patients and coworkers.
I will never forget Jack. He is in a better place now.

Jack was one of the most capable, professional persons I have ever met. He was very adept at his job, but more importantly, he was kind, empathetic and helpful to anyone who sought his assistance. And he was a friend I could talk with about sensitive issues, always offering his help. I didn't know his family, but I know they're proud of him. He leaves a legacy of love, caring and assistance to anyone who sought his help. Thank God for such a great human being!

I starting working with Jack when I was a senior at Central Catholic Highschool in 1976 and until he retired. Jack was a stickler for perfection and the patient always came first. No matter how stressful a situation would rise to we figured it out and remained friends. He was always smiling and I knew he was enjoying his retirement. God Bless you Jack and your family, you did well with treating others with your gentle concerning nature, truly one of West Penn Hospitals Best!

Deepest sympathy to Jack's brother and nieces. What can I say, I just lost a someone who was more than a friend! I was at a loss when he retired!! I met Jack as a student at WPH and we stayed friends over the years. We had so many great times working together. From him taking me to the Broadway play "HAIR" to him cutting my hair while on call! Every time we talked, we laughed!! He was such a good guy. I will miss him! Jack will always have a place in my heart but right now my...
