Not sure what to say?

When I lived in Glendale in the 1960´s, we attended St. Vincent de Paul when Father Sharpe was pastor. I last saw him in 1988 at a friends funeral mass. He looked the same. May he Rest In Peace.

Father Sharpe,
you will always be in my prayers, and I thank you for the very wise advice you gave me. You are my fondest memory from when I first went to school at SVDP you always made us feel loved and I am grateful to have been part of your parish. My thoughts and prayers go to your family and the whole SVDP parish. You are in a better place now.

On behalf of my 3 children Sandy, Doug and Dianne, and myself, Thank You for being a wonderfully, true kind Man of God. You have been an inspiration in our lives since God blessed us with you so many years ago. May you now enjoy an eternity in His house with all your friends and relatives who have gone befor you.

With Sincere Love and Gratitude We say Goodbye.

father sharpe you have been the religious leader of our family from saying the funeral mass for my father at that time you said that if this man did not go to heaven there was not a place for you well say hello to dad you are both there.

Dearest Uncle John,

I will forever remember when you carried me the entire way to Ireland. I'm thankful to know and love you as a friend and family member and will cherish the special times we shared over the years.

Give Grandma a big hug for me and have her do the same for you. I will love and miss you both until I see you again.

I love you!
Amy

My wife Judy and I wish to share our sympathy with all the people of SVDP. We first become members of the parish in 1970 and remained until our retirement on 2000. We now travel year round in a motorhome but always manage to get to SVDP when we are in Phoenix.
It will not be the same without Father Sharpe, we will remember his resonant voice and his loving way with the children.
May he rest in peace and God bless us all for having known him.

Dick and Judy George...

Dear Fr. Sharpe,

How do I begin to thank you for everything you have given me? There aren't enough words.
Everything that I am, is because of the solid foundation you and the Sisters laid out for me so many years ago.
The 8 years I spent at St. Vincent's is one of the things I treasure most in life.
Of all the things I have been given in this life, my faith is the greatest gift of all.

The last time I saw you was at our 30th class reunion,...

"If I could sit on the front porch across from God, I would thank him for the time I spent with you."

We will miss you, Father.

The Robert/Rita Lewis Family

Some people come into our lives and quickly go, some stay for a while, leave foot prints on our hearts and we are never the same. Thank you Fr. Sharpe for leaving your foot prints on the hearts of so many of us.
