John and I were classmates in Crestline, Ohio, Class of '46
We both served in the Army during the Korean conflict and got reacquainted at our class reunions over the years. I also knew Nan while still in high school when she and John started dating. They were an outstanding couple and I know have contributed much to their family and community. They spoke in glowing terms of their family and I offer my condolences to them on their loss. They will be missed.

John and Nan were my friends for over 40 years. Altho Nan usually led the way, John was always there in quiet support or with a wry observation. They were a unique team. I shall miss his gentle kindness and mischievous smile.
