The BC Government Retired Employees Association send condolences to the family and friend of Jack Walter for their loss.

May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn" sustain your family during this challenging time. (Isaiah 61:1,2) With heartfelt sympathy.

John was one of the initial people I encountered when I first worked for BC Parks in 1986. I was impressed with his resolve, his work ethic and his high personal standards for the written word. John was a big part of the organization and I benefited from knowing him.

Although I did not get to see him very much I was always proud to say that he was my godfather. Always remembered.
