Not sure what to say?

I had the distinct privelage of working with J.T. on and off since 1968, starting in Norman, Okla. J.T. was a true visionary business man and gentleman. J.T. and his brother Bob built a great buisness that had a major impact on the class ring industry. He introduced many innovations that are still used in the industry today. J.T. will be sorely missed by many people here in Austin and in Oklahoma. I personally have lost a true friend. My deepest sympathy to his Wife and especially to Mark...

John T. Waugh was my boss, my mentor, my business partner and my friend. I have had the great privilege and honor to work with JT on a daily basis for almost twenty years. As President of the John Christian Company I am proud to carry the banner and continue to build on the incredible legacy he has created during his life's work. I will do so with his son Turner C. Waugh at my side. JT's greatest joy was to see his passion for building companies and developing unique products and processes...

A giant among men; a gentle soul who touched all of us who were fortunate enough to know J.T. I worked for J.T. many, many years and every time I was in his presence, I was awe struck and amazed with the way he conducted himself. A gentlman in every sense of the word; a caring, compassionate individual who was second to none that I've every known or will ever, ever know again! I am lucky for having known him! The world has lost a great visionary; and super leader and a friend!

I worked for JT for many, many years taking care of his company and personal business. He was a Gentleman's Gentleman; highly respected and loved by all who knew him. It will be a sadder world without JT in it. My prayers and heartfelt sympathy go out to all of his family. There will never be another man on this earth the caliber of J. T. Waugh.

I have enjoyed working at John Christian for the last 3 years. It was always a delight when JT would visit. He will be missed, but his talent and legacy will live on. I extend my sympathy to T. C. and Giselle especially, and J.T.'s wife, his other children, family and friends. God Bless you all.

I was very lucky to have worked with JT at ArtCarved Class Rings in the 80’s and 90’s. JT was a gifted businessman, an innovative leader, and always a gentleman. I remember the patient teacher in him, and the gracious way he would appreciate what I did with the thoughtful suggestion on how it could be just a little better. There are still many with the company today who had the good fortune to work with JT, and we all remember him fondly.

The world was a better place with J. T. Waugh in it, and a little sadder place without him. He was a true gentleman and a gentle man. He was inspiring and fun. I remember how accessible he was at R. Johns, a friend instead of a boss. I once "threw him out" of the factory right after I started working there because I didn't know who he was, and he never forgot it! His family are in my prayers.

JT Waugh was truly a talented visionary and craftsman. I had the good fortune to work as his Executive Assistant at R. Johns back in the mid-80's and remember him with great fondness. JT always had a kind word and smile for everyone and truly cared about employees. I'm saddened to hear of his passing and my sympathies go out to the Waugh family at this time of loss. JTW was an extraordinary gentleman and leader.

My mother worked with JT for many years and I will always remember him as a true gentleman. My prayers go out to his family.
