Not sure what to say?

So sorry to find the news of Jon's passing in the Central College Bulletin. Jon and I were roommates throughout our time at Central, which have provided me with some great memories. Through the years Jon and I touched base too few times but the last time we talked I was trying to get him to come to the Lake Champlain region for a tournament so that we could catch up in person. He was a tremendous guy and I feel a great loss today with the news of his passing.

Dear Beverly,
You do not know me, my name is Martha Cosby. I met Jonathan when he lived in Brighton. My story of him is quite funny, but to say I never tire of telling it. I have been trying so hard to get in touch with him and have had no luck until today when I did a google search. I am shocked and saddened at your loss. He had many friends in Brighton and was well respected. We had exchanged a couple of e-mails and he had told me of his illness. We loved him, I loved him and...

John and I were buddies in grade school and through high school but (I'm sorry to say) had lost touch with one another since graduation. My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family.

Bev,

I was very saddened to hear the news of Jonathan's passing. Jonathan was instrumental in helping me with my career at Household Bank. When the acquisition by Harris Bank was announced and I wasn't sure if I should join Harris or look for other opportunities at Household it was Jonathan that I sought out for advice. As always, he gave me solid, sound advice that helped me to make the correct choice resulting in a very fulfilling career at Harris Bank. I will truly miss him....

Bev, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Russ & Tracey Weltzien

Beverly, We're sadden to hear such news. Russ and I both worked for Jonathan at Household Bank in Hoffman. We both had great respect for him and often reflect on memories of such good times.

He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you each day during this difficult time.

Jonathan was a true mentor and friend and he will surely be missed. He has shaped and developed the careers of so many. He even taught us how to bone fish in Key Largo. Bev- my prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Bev,
My heart goes out to you. Jonathan was a great colleague and inspiration. I am sorry we lost him so soon. My prayers are with you and the family.

Bev - sorry to hear about your loss!! Too many miles, too many distractions and too many years kept us old HB'er apart! JR and I met & worked together in Colorado at Household Bank, fsb in the summer of 1986. Jonathan got me the interview that brought us to Chicagoland in 1990. Where we met and tooled around in your convertible...hitting some of the Chicagoland highlights for the day! JR was a great man, heart of gold!! I'm taken back by the events - I was looking forward to see you guys...
