Not sure what to say?

Maybe I didin't know onii-san too much,but i loved him like a big brother.
I'm the big sister in my family without counting my brother Felix, and my sisters Nena and Ronnie.so i never knowed how it fells to be love and cared like a little one. Then i met onii-san Joe,and tough it was 40 years of difference,he never treat me like he was old and distant. He wasn't like that.
I've always wanted to be like him,so kind and friendly to everybody, even the strangers at the forums he and I...

My memories of Joe go way back to the time he and Rachel lived in Harlingen. I remember going over to their apartment for spaghetti dinners. I remember laughter. He seemed much older to me, the “grown up” cousin, more than just the difference in our ages.

My heartfelt prayers go out to you Ronnie, Nena and Felix for losing a brother and Tio Joe and Tia Dora for losing a son. Our Lord called Joe to a better place but he will always be in your hearts and memories.

this is hard...

Hey Hawaiian ... I love you much; thanks for giving me the privilege to check out what you were into at the time of your life...

primarily, thank you for being a forgiving person, for realizing that time is short, and wasting it for whatever reason is a sin...

unexpected part of my life, but... there are lessons here.

Let us not lose the lessons.

Love you always, my brother, my fellow "Hawaiian"!

Nena

My big brother was our leader, and our teacher. He introduced me to Janis, Jimi, Chicago, and more. He led us on bikes to the library in the summers, and always had a joke or two to share. We were always following him, and wanting to imitate him in some way. I take comfort in the fact that each of my siblings and I now have a "Joe habit" of some kind. Joe also gave us Kathy, who is so much like her father and yet is so smart and funny in her own right. He was my big bro, and I'll never be...

I have vivid memories of cousin Joe and his irreverent sense of humor so it's only mildly surprising and wholly humorous that he takes his journey Home dressed for the occasion. I know that once my time comes, I'll probably find my cousin kicking back with that crazy get-up on, smiling and waiting to share a corny joke. I hope God brings you comfort and peace.
Blessings be upon everyone in the families connected to cousin Pito.

Peace and Blessing Be Upon You,
Louie...

To the Zamarron Family,
God has many ways of reminding us that the beautiful spirits who have touched our lives soar higher and farther than we would ever imagine, all the way to perfect peace and freedom with Him.
No one can take away the pain and loss you must feel, but hopefully you can take comfort in the knowledge that your loved one is at peace with God...
and one day, you'll be together again.
Our Deepest Sympathy.
With All Our Love,

To my Zamarron family, yes cousin Joe will be missed dearly and yes we are sad for he is not with us anymore,But let be happy to know that he is in a better place now. . .

Allen Damron convinced Joe and I that we needed to go to the (1975) Kerrville Folk Festival. So we scrounged a tent somewhere, piled into my Citoren and took off. We got to Quiet Valley Ranch a couple days early and ended up helping with preparations. There is a hill on the south end of the ranch with an old and very large oak in a clearing at the top, know known as Chapel Hill. Joe and I helped carry the original altar up the hill and set it in place. About ten years ago, lightning...
