I will always remember Joe very fondly from my days at Michigan. He was a tremendous supporter of the program and the guys. He will be missed personally by all of us that have had an opportunity to have met him, and I am sorry for the players that will play in the future, that they will not also get to meet such a great supporter and wonderful man.

Ditto Jim Keough's comments. Joe was always there, through good times & bad, supporting the team and the coaches. We had to remind him periodically that we couldn't talk any longer and it was time for him to leave the locker room as we had a game to play. He'd laugh as Joe always did and keep talking as he walked out the door and down the stairs of the old locker room at Yost.

I remember meeting Joe at the first Deker picnic my Freshman year. During my four years at Michigan I don't think I met a bigger supporter of the hockey program than Joe. He deeply cared about the program and about the players. He will be missed by all of us, and the lockerroom after the games won't be the same without him.

A great hockey fan that I remember from my playing days back in the sixties. I have not been back to A2 for hockey games for a while but whenever I was there Joe would always say hello.
All Michigan hockey players in the last 40 years knew your dad and remember him well.
God speed Joe...Go Blue
