Not sure what to say?

I volunteered as a driver for the Child Medical Connection that Joe set up. I took Vietnamese kids to their hospital & medical appointments at the Shriner's Hospitals in Springfield & Boston. I admired Joe's dedication to these kids, he was a very great man !

Joe and I were classmates at HC. I lived on campus, Joe was a day hop, however, Gardner and Leominster were close in many ways. We became friends and were to see each other occasionally thru the years.
Joe was a special guy who was totally unselfish giving of himself to help the less fortunate.

God Bless,dear friend

I've lived in Fitchburg since 1958

God has brought Joseph to his eternal home with Christ Jesus and all the angels......

Lots of memories with Joe, he was a special, caring person with a huge heart.

Joseph Mandarano (Mandy)

Joe was a good man and very caring to all. He will be greatly missed.....

Cindy (Mandarano) Smith

My memory of Joe (and his kids) was to know a special man full of kindness who gave of himself to all he knew. He took care of children from Vietnam bringing them to the U.S. for medical treatment and education. Some of them have gone on to college. I lived next door to Joe for several years and saw his boundless energy with the children commuting to Boston hospitals and to many fun activities for them. Rest in peace. I will always remember you.
