Joseph V. Esposito
U.S. Navy veteran, Superior Court Officer, Essex County Courts
Joseph V. Esposito of West Caldwell, N.J. passed away on June 8, 2019, at the young age of 86.
Joseph was born in Newark, N.J., and resided in West Caldwell for over 50 years.
He was self-employed, as a Superior Court Officer, Special Civil Part of the Essex County Courts since 1958, and still working up until his passing.
Joseph served honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, and was very proud of his service, and his country. In the years following his faithful service, he always enjoyed attending his Navy reunions wherever they were held.
He will be remembered by his loving family and friends, as a devoted family man. Besides spending time with those he loved, Joe enjoyed fishing and boating along the Jersey Shore, sitting at the Manasquan Inlet, and especially loved attending his grandchildren's activities.
Joseph was the beloved husband of Rosemary Esposito (nee Parsick) for 59 years; loving father of Theresa M. Esposito, Joseph V. Esposito II (Jacqueline), Anthony J. Esposito (Jane) and Mary Lynn Burk (William); dear brother of Fiorita Mesger (Ken) and the late Vincent Esposito; cherished grandfather of Joseph, Michael, Anthony, Vincent, Sam and Courtney; brother-in-law of Julius Parsick (Janet) and Raymond Parsick (Juliette); also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell, N.J., on Friday, June 14 from 4 to 8 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be at St. Aloysius Church, Caldwell on Saturday, June 15 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J. For more information, or to send condolences, visit www.ippolitofuneralhomes.com
