Joseph Giurintano

Jackson - Joseph Giurintano, 82, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at St. Richard's Catholic Church in Jackson from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow.

He was born on December 5, 1934 in Sicily, Italy. Mr. Giurintano was a pilot for the United States Air Force from which he retired. After he retired, he opened his own construction company where he was a home builder.

Mr. Giurintano is preceded by his father, Phillip Giurintano and his brother, Sebastian Giurintano.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Maria Teresa Giurintano; mother, Nella Giurintano; brothers, Tony and Leo Giurintano; sister, Santina Smith; children, Kari M Valente, David Tate, Elaine Berry, Diana, Alice, Matthew, Marie; 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
