Julia,
It was with great sadness that I learned of Joe's passing. While I had not seen him in several years, I will always cherish our years at Mizzou and the bonds we made at Phi Kappa Psi. He was a "Brother's Brother" and will always be remembered among those of us who shared college and frat life together.
"Come all ye loyal brothers, hearts filled with old Phi Psi"
May God grant you grace and peace as we continue without Joe in our midst.

Dear Julia,
My heart aches for you and your loss.In the short amounts of time that I had spent with the two of you it was always obvious to me the love you both shared as well as Joe's zest for life and ability to always "look on the bright side".The world surely needs more people like your Joe but now he has even made heaven a better place! Love and prayers to you Julia.

Julia and Ashley,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. There times and seaons in ours lives some filled with laughter and some sorrow. God is with us during them them all. No pain, no tears forever in glory with Him. What a thing to look forward too.
Please listen to the Lord and He will mend your broken heart. Be glad for your...

Julia & Ashley,
I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Joe fought a very hard battle and in many ways he won the war. He out lived what the doctors told him & he did this for his, Julia. He loved you so much, he lived for you and that gave him the drive to fight as long as he did. Take care and God Bless.
I hope to be there tomorrow for the visitation.
Sincerely
Karen, Jim, Aaron & Nicole

Joe was my best and oldest friend. I met him in 1960 when we were both in the 7th grade at Holy Family School in St Louis. We lived on the same street, ate and played in each others' homes, both graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia (we shared a room in the dorm together till he joined his fraternity), he was the best man at my wedding, and we have remained in close contact and often visited with one another during all these many, but all too few, years. Joe was loyal to his...

Julia,
Sadly I cannot be with you on Monday. You and Joe and I met under such very special circumstances, and you have both been so important to me. I am so grateful for our recent meeting, with Osa, and Joe's big smile and positive attitude prevailed. Please know that you are in my thoughts and that I love you, and we will continue this journey together. I extend condolences to other members of your and Joe's families, proud and happy to say that I knew such a remarkable, loving man.
