Not sure what to say?

I just found out about Joe's passing. I have fond memories of backpacking throughout New Hampshire, tackling the states highest 48 4,000 foot peaks and the section of the Appalachian Trail which traverses New Hampshire. He was always a joy to spend time with.

So sorry to learn of Joes passing last year. Joe was a special person with boundless energy and interests and a great friend and college room mate...

To the Gula family I am so sorry for your loss. There are no words to explain how impactful Professor Gula was. I am sending my prayers and thoughts to his family.

The last time I saw Joe would be 1993 at NHTI. Many times I have thought about him over the years. He was my hero. I wore a tie and coat to class, partly because I had gone to Catholic school for twelve years, but mostly to be cool like Mr. Gula. He had such a cool way about him. He did so more than teach business classes. He built dreams and instilled hope. I remember him telling us in class (`91 or `92) about some cool software a friend of his had developed to take someone´s photo...

Professor Gula had such a profound impact on my education and career. So sad to hear of his passing. My thoughts go out to his loved ones.

Thank for 22 years of friendship and for being a wonderful partner to my mother. Even though you´re gone, we´ll never forget all the good times we spent together.

Joe and his kayak bubs would make a yearly trek to stay with me at Boyce's Motel in Stonington. Joe was a guest I always looked forward to seeing, never knowing what kind of ribbing he would have in store for me. He was always about a good time and will be missed. My condolences to all he touched.

I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I had the pleasure of working with him at NHTI. He was funny, articulate and all-around great person. I often saw him after I left NHTI. He had a friend that lived in my neighborhood. I would see him and his dog, Otis. Rest in Peace, Joe.

Cookie, Just saw this in the newspaper..... Our thoughts & prayers are with you at this difficult time. May your wonderful memories help you through the days ahead.
