Not sure what to say?

Just Came across Dr. Kane's obituary. I remember him as Irish Christian Brother Kane back in 1958-1960 at Blessed Sacrament High School in New Rochelle NY. I played varsity basketball and he was often there at the practices and games..recall going to Madison Sq. Graden with him to see some college games. Great guy. Not surprised at all to learn of his successful career and happy that he had a wonderful family life.

Joe Kane gave me my email address, thanx Joe, I’m still using it.

I am so sad to here about Mr(Dr.) Kane's passing. A day late, more like 10 years. I absolutely loved this man, he was one of my favorite people and I know what loss it is for his family. My heart goes out to Helene, Kathy and Joey. I was blessed to have the opportunity to know your family throughout my teenage years. Your parents were very nice to me and your father was right, in his advice to me before my wedding. I miss you Helene and Kathy and you remain in my heart. Dolly Dalsey

Dear Kane family,

I am saddened by this news and offer the entire family my deepest condolences.

We at Seton Hall Prep were blessed to have a great, smart, talented and caring mentor in Joe Kane. I am so glad that he was part of my life and he will be missed.

God bless you all.

Sail on Mr. Kane and may you rest in peace with glory of God, the saints and all of the angels. Have fun with the other departed brothers and sisters from our Seton Hall...

I am deeply saddened to hear this sad news . A truely remarkable man who looked out for me at Seton Hall Prep and was one of the reasons I was able to further my education at Villanova University. Thanks for being a mentor to me at the Prep and thanks for our friendship afterwards in South Orange and Manasquan . I will miss our chats at the bagel bakery in Manasquan !! May you roam amongst the angel in heaven Mr. Kane . Carl Adamo Class of 77.

We were so sorry to hear this sad news. We know he will be missed so much as
a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Kane Family, So sorry to hear that Mr. Kane passed away last week. He always beat Joey and me in nerf basketball, 2-on-1, while playing on his knees. A very kind and gentle man.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
