I always think of Joe around Halloween-that was his Holiday! Tricking the kids into sticking their candy bag inside the door (and grabbing their candy). Thanks for the memories

It's so funny that I get this right before Halloween. I know that Joe absolutely loved Halloween, probably more than the kids did. I always looked forward to going to his house to see what "trick" he had planned for his visitors that year. Such a great neighbor!

Joe always had a smile and it never failed that he would make me laugh. I admired this ability and the courage he demonstrated. What a good man!

He will be deeply missed. Loved the get togethers with family when our son was younger. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and family.

I'll always remember how much Joe LOVED Halloween. As a kid growing up in Joe's neighborhood I always looked forward to going to his house and wondering what he had up his sleeve this Halloween, reminding the younger kids not to stick their bag in the door-Joe always had a surprise for the kids trick or treating. He was a great neighbor and will be greatly missed.

Joe was the best neighbor we ever had. He always had a smile on his face and always made me laugh. I loved watching him putter around him yard. It was a comfort to know he was there when our girls needed him. There were a couple of times he had to break into our house because the girls forgot their keys. He finally came over and installed a key pad so they could get in through the garage. Love that man! He is and will always be in our heart and our thoughts. Rest In Peace my good friend!
