When I met Joe it was 1988-89 at a gathering of Brothers in the Fraternity. He was always willing to help others. He will be missed.

I was so sad when I saw the marque that Joe had passed. Joe was one of my favorite customers when I worked at the Pioneer. I enjoyed his sense of humor and he had the greatest laugh! I ran a contest in the paper in July during National Hot Dog Week. The contest was between Joe at Dairy Queen and Mike at A&W. Mike won the contest, and Joe put a message in the paper to Mike, "Aren't you glad you got your hotdogs from me!"
I will miss stopping in to see him.

He was our very best friend We worked at the university together in the housing office. We will miss Joe very much. He had a big heart and always made you laugh. Fond memories of one of our best friends ---- ever God bless you Joe
