Not sure what to say?

Joe has been my friend and classmate since 1945. We shared many, many memories including the joy of the many participations in music. One particular event comes to mind. When we were preparing the Vivaldi "Gloria" to be presented by the Carrolleers at the Cathedral of St. Helena; Joe built a Harpsichord! He did this so that I could perform on an instrument the original masterpiece required. Can you believe this, he actually built a Harpsichord? That was Joseph Munzenrider, an orginal, true...

Joe was a delight , I made a point of visiting him in Helena whenever I made it back. He provided a stack of hymnals to my daughter when she asked for advice on learning the organ. I will miss his genius with gelato and life.

Joe was the best type of character! He could make you laugh, cringe, and cry all in one conversation. He was an amazing teacher and I will always remember how much he hated opera. May his memory be a blessing.

I am so sorry to see that Joe has died. His grandmother lived on our block of Hillsdale in Helena. We often heard of his amazing musical talents. May he rest in peace after such stellar achievements!

He was my teacher, my skiing buddy and a friend since the early sixties. Helena is a better place because of him. I am so sorry.
