Not sure what to say?

I am so very sorry to learn of Joe's passing. Our court reporting office was next door to Hyland & Hyland in the Leader Bldg. I took many depositions for Joe. He was a genuinely kind man and always remembered to ask about our families. I am fortunate to have met him. He shall be missed. Rest in peace, Joe.

R.I.P. Joseph. I knew Joseph when I was Councilman, Ward 4 (1988 - 93). He took his job of Chairman Board of Appeals seriously. Oh Maggie, Buster and I are so sorry for your troubles. As you know, we go way back with Joe and I cannot say enough good things about the man. We had many a discussion solving world problems beginning with traditional Jesuit format:
Define Your Terms! What a wit, and a kind and generous soul. He sent notes, called, and made sure I knew he wanted to help in any way, when Buster was in the hospital for so long in Florida and then recuperating in Cleveland.
He will be missed. Know...

JOE was a good man!

We knew him as a loyal St. Ignatius High School man, a fellow hard working attorney and as a Fairview Park resident.

Always interesting to talk to with a great sense of humor and a story teller.

He was a loyal supporter.

Joe was a fellow HOYA who served Georgetown University and The Georgetown Club of Cleveland

He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Maggie and his family

One of the best . A good friend , a great sense of humor and a great American . From a Georgetown classmate and fellow Irishman .

My heart breaks for the loss of Joe. He was such a loving and giving person. I was blessed to know him for many years and he will truly be missed. Prayers for Maggie & Richard and the rest of the family

I am so sad to hear of Joes passing. I could not have asked for a better next door neighbor on Concord for 20 plus years. My sincere condolences to Maggie and Richard .
