Not sure what to say?

We miss Joe terribly. He was like a parent watching over us when we visited art and him in Florida. He worried about George and Me crossing the busy highway walking over to the stores. He was a very caring person and we loved him. Quite the card player too. We are so happy that we got to know him. He was family.

Goodbye dear friend,
You touched so many people, so accepting and tolarant.
You certainly were a big part of my life, although way too short.
Can't believe it has been a year already. Thank goodness we all have such great memories. Love and miss you.
Millie

Joe was a fun man to be around. I always enjoyed my times visiting him and uncle Art down in Florida. We had a lot of fun times at the beach. I always appreciated his famous grin as I either teased him or had fun joking with him. People admired him on the beach. Many fun times up in Minnesota at the lake. We had good times as I helped him move to different locations in Florida, or Palm Springs, CA, or him and Art visiting my family when we lived in Wisconsin. I'm glad I got to know Joe...

Where do I begin? Joe was quite the man, he was a wonderful friend to many people. He had a knack for making us laugh a lot. He was fun to be around, caring, giving, hospitable. He was a very talented man. He could cook, can from his huge garden, he made beautiful glass lamps. I guess you could say he was a "Jack of all trades." We miss him a lot. May our dear friend rest well. We have a lot of fond memories with Joe. He will never be forgotten. He loved Art's family like they were...

Joe was a good friend to us and any others he knew. He treated my mom like she was special whenever he came to visit. She always had a big smile when he visited her because he always cheered her up and made her laugh. He is greatly missed for his loving attitude and care for all around him.He was a good friend for my brother Art.

Joe & Arthur in better days

My Dear Joe, It's been a year now, and I still cry almost every day. The house is so empty without you and you never new that I needed you as much or more than you needed me. You always had my back. You truly were the wind beneath my wings and my confidence builder. Trying to move on without you has taken all my strength. I still think of what I could have done or missed that would have changed the horrible outcome. I'm still in shock over it all and wish I could have done more. My sorrow...

Many years before I become acquainted with Joe and when I visited him in Florida I also meet his friend Dan. I got a very good friendship to both of them and I remember very often about the nice holidays with them. Now Joe has gone and I am very sad, and I miss him but I will NEVER forget this lovely and friendly man in my life.
Joe, thanks for all, I don't forget you. Bernd from germany
