Not sure what to say?

To the family, Jan, Tim, Georgie and Gary,
So sorry to hear about Your dad. We always enjoyed his company. May your memories be a blessing.
Larry and Marian

I knew Popeye, his uncle Martin was married to my sister, Helen. We were both in their wedding party. My husband and he were basketball players on opposing teams. He was a good basketball player! So sorry to read of his passing. Condolences to his family...may your memories of him comfort you now and in the days ahead.

My sincerest condolences to you, Georgie, Janie and to the entire family. He was always known to me as "Popeye" and I will always remember him as the kindest, funniest and most loving human being. My time spent with your family was always the best of times.

May he Rest In Peace

Sharon (Gasparovic) Wells and Family

My Condolence to Mr Pavelic Family. I would see him at the Weis market playing his lottery. It was always a pleasure running in to him. We would always talk about the West Side and his daughters Georgie and Jan! He would say he loved the Drayton's! God Bless Mr Pavelic. He was such a nice man and always made me smile!

My deepest sympathy to Georgie and Janie. I lived on the West Side, next door to the Pavelic Family. I always felt welcome in that home whenever I jumped the fence and came over to play! Your Mom, your Grandma and your Dad were kind and truly nice people! We should all feel lucky to have known such a wonderful family. They touched my life in ways that I will always remember. Barry is right, Popeye had the biggest yard on the street but he also opened his heart to all on our block! ...

I remember the family growing up on Myers Street. My Mother did sewing for the family. I was the delivery person. Super nice family. Condolences to the family.

Popeye you are one of the most unforgettable people I had the honor of knowing. Your quick wit and ability to call it as you saw it will be greatly missed. You gave respect to those that deserved it and honest criticism to those people that needed it. RIP. I will always remember you.

bought my first bicycle from him, 1952 it was a Huffy, for a short time he was like a big brother always friendly with every one, back in the day everyone wanted Popeye on their team. I always felt privilege to know him and to remember how he stood out in a great way

So very sorry for your loss! Our thoughts are with you.
