Not sure what to say?

I just received news of the passing of Mr. Polevoi, which brought about a feeling of sadness, but also of thankfulness for growing up next door to the most wonderful family you could have had as neighbors. I remember as a young boy Mr. Polevoi showing me his artwork, and providing encouragement when I displayed an interest in art. Although it has been many years, I have the fondest memories of Mr. Polevoi and extend my deepest, heartfelt sympathy to Barry, Lee, Lynn, and Mrs. Polevoi.

I had the pleasure of delivering meals to Mr. and Mrs. Polevoi each week. I sat and had a lovely conversation with them just a week before his passing. How sad to see this news. Many prayers to his wife and family.

Thinking of you and your family Lynn. Sincerely, Roger, Will, Bill, Jessica, Angela

Eternal Friendship Remembrance Bouquet - VASE INCLUDED

Growing up in northeast Ohio in the 1960s and 70s, cousin Joe and his beautiful family were a regular part of my life. While our contact in the last few decades was less frequent, it has always been special. My deepest condolences go out to his whole family, especially Marcia, Lee, Barry and Lynn.

I met Joe and Marcia at The Cleveland Photographic Society many years ago. I found them to be one of those rare " a match made in the heavens" couple. I so enjoyed Joe´s sense of humor, but mostly his creative mind. He would create the most hilarious photo composites. My most memorable was a fellow photographer with photo gear and a kitchen sink on her back. He made it look so authentic. He tried to teach me how to replicate what he does.. nope... I was a complete failure because no one can...

I was saddened to learn of our loss. I say "our loss" because Joe's passing is a loss to all who knew him. He was a kind, gentle person, free in his encouragement and support of photographers, always willing to take the extra time to show, share and teach. He was a passionate, creative photographer. He will be remembered and missed.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Joe. Will always remember him as a creative photographer and enthusiastic person. His energy was contagious; always smiling and saying jokes. Love him. My sentiments to his family, especialy to Marcia. RIP Joe Polevoi.

As a member of the Cleveland Photographic Society, Joe was, by far, one of the friendliest, funniest, and most creative person I met there. It was a pleasure to know him and he will be greatly missed.
