Not sure what to say?

My wife and I are in a state of shock. We moved away from Baltimore in the very early 90's and lost touch like so often happens when life gets busy. So sad to hear of his passing. He was our best man at our wedding, we're just numb. We feel so guilty now for not trying harder to reconnect.

Tim & Gail Jameson

So sad to learn of Joe's passing. He was a dedicated member of the team at the Office of Financial Regulation and his spirit will be missed. I am grateful that i got to know and work with Joe as a colleague. My deepest sympathies to his family.

You will be sorely missed. Your time on this Earth was too short. I am sad to no longer have your words of wisdom, company at a ballgame, or the chance to join you again on a camping trip. You were a good soul and a treasured friend. My heart is heavy.

I am very saddened about the loss of Joe. He was a positive spirit to many in his office and community. He spent many years as President of his HOA and did many great projects to improve his community. He also made the best chocolate chip cookies. He will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to his friends and family.

I am truly sorry about the loss of your loved one. May God give your family the peace and strength to endure this difficult time. Deepest sympathies.

I lived in Govans, and remember playing baseball in the field, riding bikes through the neighborhood, and pulling go carts on the back of our bikes with rope.

So sad to hear this horrific news. Joe will always be remembered as my childhood friend from the neighborhood and St Marys School.

Deepest Sympathy to the family!

Patricia and Michael Block (née Bielecki)

Our deepest sympathies to the entire Rooney Family on the passing of Joseph.

In Love and Light, Gretchen & John

I worked with Joe for many years and fondly remember times when we laughed and joked in the office. He made working there fun. He truly was the life of the party. I am shocked and saddened by this horrible news. He has definitely left us all too soon. My condolences to his family and close friends. My heart is broken and I will miss him terribly.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
