Not sure what to say?

Shirley and family--So sorry to learn of Joe's passing. Thinking of you and May God grant you His peace that only He can give during this difficult time. Take care and May God Bless!

He was a blessing to those who knew him, shared in his laughter and words of wisdom. He was a beacon of light and always a warm and welcoming smile. Joe was a Heist kid magnet. We loved him like our own dad and letting him go is difficult for the Heist's. He was one of dad's very best friends for over 50 years. Betsy's God- Father and the oldest three were in your wedding. He baby sat when I was born. When we heard the Santo family was coming over to visit the house would light up. ...

Dear Angie, Shirley and Heather,

I'm so sorry for your loss. I know it is a deep one. From the moment we met, I recognized a kindred spirit in Joe, who went out of his way to make a college freshmen he rescued from a blizzard feel pretty special. But that was probably pretty typical of him.

Joe- from one Army Brat to another, I hope this final PCS is the best one yet and that we meet again in our travels...

Wonderful person and a genius!

Angie and Heather sorry to hear about the passing of your guys dad he was a good man. I remember the help and guidance he gave to me when I was in your mom and his 4H group back in the day. Thoughts and prayers go out to you, your mom, and your families during this time.

I worked with Joe for many years at Hr Block. He was a pleasure to work with. And always a great mentor! So sorry for your loss.

This man was a real hero to me and I love him very much. Thank you Joe, for being such a great role model and father figure to me. I will never forget your kind and gentle heart. Xoxoxo Theresa Lincks Mulligan
