SCHLOSSER, Joseph L. - Of Flint, age 63, died Friday, June 8, 2007 at his residence. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM, Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road in Burton. Father Tim MacDonald officiating. Cremation will take place following the Mass. Those desiring may make contributions to Brian's House in Davison. Visitation 5-8PM Monday and 11-2PM and 5-8PM Tuesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. A Rosary will be prayed 7PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Schlosser will be at the church from 10:30AM Wednesday until the time of the Mass. Joseph was born in Flint, Michigan on November 7, 1943. He was Valedictorian of the Class of 1961 at Utley High School and received his Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Michigan-Flint in 1973. On December 8, 1962 he married Linda M. Dorman. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and was involved with Cub Scouts Pack #1014. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, Michigan Games and camping. Joseph retired from General Motors V-8 Plant. Surviving are wife, Linda; sons, Frederick and wife Sherry of Kalkaska, Keith and wife Mary Beth of White Lake, Gregory and wife Alicia of Clio, Bradley and wife Robin of Flint; grandchildren, Blake, Andrew, Amanda Mai, Dana Marie, Blaine, Joseph, Thomas, Michael, Donovan and Alexander; sisters, Irene and husband Mark Bexton of Flint, Frieda Rieder of Flint; brothers, Bill and wife Sylvia of Tennessee, Eugene of Flint, Louie and wife Mardee of Flint; family friend Tonya and Phil Barger of Clio, the Godzik family and several nieces and nephews.
