Not sure what to say?

Dear Lauren and Justin, We're so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. I am Ed's nephew. Although I only met Joe a few times when I was young and haven't seen him in many years, I recognized his face instantly and remembered his warm, positive energy and smile. His presence has left a strong impression even after many years. Our deepest condolences to your family. We are keeping you in our prayers.

So sorry for your loss. I worked different sports with Joe, was just a great guy. Will be truly missed by everyone that knew Joe!!

Fellow Holy Cross Crusader will be missed by all our classmates

Single Memorial Tree

I was a friend of Joe from our freshman year at The Cross. We enjoyed many bridge games with Jack Facey, Tom Gifford, Joe O´Brien and many others. Joe will be missed by us all.

Dear Lauren and Justin, I am a classmate of Joe's from HolyCross. I was privileged to get to know Joe beginning freshman year on Carlin 2 and that friendship continued until his passing last week. I loved the long distance catching up we did when we were able to connect. Also thankful I got to visit in person last year. I am so sorry to hear about his passing. My thoughts and prayers also go out to both of you at this time. Peace, Jack McElligott '72

Joe and I reconnected at our recent Holy Cross reunions. He was a free spirit, fellow sports official and golfing partner. Joe just being Joe helps me to remember the good times we spent together. RIP

Joe was a great umpire who truly loved the game and his son. He always had time for you and loved talking baseball. He will be missed

I knew Joe through EMASS senior softball, loved talking baseball and as a player you knew you were playing in front of one of the best umpires. Joe will be missed, but not forgotten
