Read MoreI had the pleasure of knowing Joe when he worked at Post Cereals. Joe was indeed a very nice man. I remember fondly the ice fishing experiences and the trout fishing trip on the Boardman River. Joe had an infectious laugh and was a wonderful story teller. My prayers are with you tonight.

Words seem so inadequate to express my feelings. Both you and Joe have shown such friendship to me. And I watched your kids grow up with my own. Even before Joe and I became KAPPAs together his greeting was always a handshake and a hug. Joe is as sensitive in heart as he is large in physical presence. I will miss my “Line Brother” - I will miss my friend. I am praying God’s strength to see you and your family through this time.

It has been 36 years since I last saw Joe. We attended Western Michigan's B school and we both graduated in 1974. Joe was always happy. I can't remember a time when Joe wasn't smiling. You will be missed. My sympathy is extended to his lovely wife Sherry and their children. God bless you Joe.

I worked with Joe many years and appreciated his sense of humor and his ability to put things in perspective. He had a great personality. I am glad that he was my friend and I'm thankful for the time I was able to spend with him.
