Josephine Gombar

Josie has been an incredible friend to two important people in my life - my Aunt Eva Lou in San Diego and my Great Aunt Grace in Mt. Home, Arkansas. I've known her since I was five, and as an adult I have always admired her deep faith and her devotion to family and friends. My family was very fortunate that she came into our lives. I will miss her.

I met Josie when I became a member of St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Kenosha and we sang together in the choir. Josie had such a strong dedication to her Catholic faith and set such an example of sacrifice and dedication to the Rosary. She led the Rosary on Sunday mornings at St. Anthony and at the meetings of the Rosary Society. I admired her for her stamina and her positivity but so greatly admired her for her faith. She really lived her faith and I have been so touched by her example. ...
