Not sure what to say?

Dear Bernie and family,
SO many memories of my childhood and grown-up years include your Mom. Her sense of humor and generosity were true gifts. Her hard-work at Bennie's was appreciated by so many of us who enjoyed her crab cakes (I'm still waiting for her to give me the recipe!!) and honey-dipped chicken. I still remember how swollen and sore her thumbs looked from peeling all those shrimp. Her kindness continued on even though she was tied to her oxygen tank. I was able to visit...

Cousin Bernie,

My deepest sympathies to you on your mother's passing. My best memories of Aunt Jo were when as kids we visited dad's cafe to have her pasta and crabs. No matter how busy she was in that kitchen, she always had the time to come out and joke around with us. A very special woman - a true one-of-a-kind. Take comfort that she's in good company and dancing with the angels.

To Ray and Family,
I'm very sorry for the loss of your grandmother, I will always remember her kindess and her wit throughout the years, she always made be feel welcome, seeing her at Shoprite I'd always smile and think to myself that is one tough spunky woman! She'll be missed.

Dear Bernie and Family,
I was so sorry to hear that Aunt Jo had died. She was a special person who always thought of others first. I admired her courage and always looked forward to her visits - she was the life of the party! She made the best crab cakes, cheese steaks and honey-dipped chicken at Bennie's Cafe. Thank you Aunt Jo for all the fond memories!

Dear Bernie & Family,
Please know our prayers and thoughts are with you at this sad time. I miss Aunt Jo more than you can know. I have great memories of all of us, my Mom, Pat, & me jumping into her car for an adventure. As you may remember, we called her the globe trotter. She was an original, a free spirit, my second mother. May she rest in peace.
Love,
Joanne & Jack

Dear Bernie & Family,

I was sorry to learn of your mother's passing. She was a special lady and will be missed by her family & friends. I used to love to visit your house, as a child, because your mother was always so nice to us.
I'll keep her in my prayers,
Faye
