Guest Book

Not sure what to say?

Joy, it's been nearly two years since you left. Much has happened, most of it good. I think I have grieved in a positive way and have come through it a better man. I've remarried and started a new life. But many wonderful memories remain in the past. Thank you for being an amazing wife and mother. You were the best. I will always love you.

Joy is one of my first childhood memories and after 40 plus years I have that same memory of her. I love you Joy.

Joy, I reviewed the entries to your Guest Book today (April 19, 2014). Reading what your friends and family wrote about you brought back good memories, as well as, some pain in reminding me of what I've lost with your passing. In some ways, it's been a hard year of course. And in some ways, it's been a blessed year as God has guided me, and has brought people into my life to help me grieve and heal. I will always love you, Joy.

To The Walker Family,
We are truly grateful that your paths crossed with ours, because we were able to meet two of the sweetest Ladies that God brought to this planet. Ms. Bromley and Mrs. Walker were such amazing people. They both had sweet gentle spirits. Their memory will live on forever in our hearts because whenever we bring them up in thought, they will be with us. We pray that our Comforter will bring your family peace to get through the days of ahead. Peace be with you all.

Our deepest sympathy to Tom and family. How saddened we are to hear of her passing, but rejoice knowing she is with Jesus now and her suffering is over. We will always remember her beautiful smile and laugh. Oh how we loved that accent too. Our memories of our PME days with you and Joy, we treasure. What a great couple. Know that we love you, Tom and hold you in our prayers.

Joy was a special church friend when we were young growing up in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Savannah. Joy was known for her beautiful smile then and it looks like she kept that for the rest of her life! Her mother was a church mother and also my third grade teacher. Rest in peace Joy! Special prayers for her family, Vicki Hodge Hoover, Paris, TN

Am praying for all of you. Will talk to you later

Joy will always have a special place in my heart. I have lost a close and dear friend that I have been blessed to know since we were 8 years old. I am thankful that I was able to spend some time with her last year. We talked and being the Joy that we know and love she was very candid about the battle she was fighting. She touched me so deeply with her courage and determination to live her life to the fullest. Her faith in God to see her through whatever was to come touched all of us.

Tommy and Children:
So sorry to hear of your loss of a wonderful person. She was a special friend of mine. You are in my prayers.
