Mom - Joyce E. Barnett - in Iceland

So very sorry for your loss. Joyce was a regular in my yoga classes and she will always be in my heart! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

What a lovely sister, Frank. You two had a very nice relationship. You were lucky to have each other. I'm so sorry for your loss. I wish you well, Frank.

Best, Angie

We knew Joyce through serving with her at the Coffee Service at the San Francisco Opera. She exuded a joyful enthusiasm for the Opera and for live in general. We shall miss her greatly
Dean Straw and Rayma Mui.

I first met Joyce in 1966 when I was in Donna's first grade class. She was always kind to me, thoughtful and fun to be around. I hadn't seen her since I was a kid,but I was honored to visit her with Donna last month. Mrs. Barnett was the same good spirited and upbeat person that I remember.I am sure she will be missed. I also felt awe at the positive interaction between mother and daughter and their strength as well.
I don't think I will ever forget that day.

Joyce was filled with such a love of life and living. The privilege of being with her for a few sparking moments will stay with me. She was blessed to the last by her amazing daughter -- Donna's courage and grace so apparent -- and her brother Franklin, a lifelong playmate if ever there were.

May the heavens rejoice in the arrival of this amazing being.

May the God of hope give you a measure of peace and comfort in this truly difficult time. Romans 15:13.

I didn't know her but what a wonderful description of a woman who lived life to the fullest! Her daughter is a chip off the ol' block too - an adventuress to the max. My condolences to all who knew this wordly traveler.

Mom and Donna Mother's Day 2014. Thankfully, I was with mom on Mother's Day 2017, a dozen baby pink roses by her side. She loved pink and green, the colors of her childhood room and the room of her last goodbye.
