Funeral Services for Joyce Clark Phillips Lemons, age 79, of Spring City Tennessee, will be Held on Sunday at 2:00pm (Central Time) from the Chapel of Whitson Funeral Home in Cookeville, TN. The burial will follow in the Warren Cemetery.


The Family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm (Central Time) at the Funeral Home and on Sunday from 12:00pm until time of services at 2:00pm


WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE WEAR A FACE MASK AND PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCE GUIDLINE WHILE VISITING THE FUNERAL HOME.


Joyce was born in Overton County on June 23, 1941 to the Late Orvin and Edna West Clark. She passed away on July 21, 2020 at Saint Thomas West Hospital surrounded by Family.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by;


Daughter: Sherrie Renea Phillips


1st Husband and Father of her Children: Melvin V. Phillips


2nd Husband: Hugh “Jock” Lemons


2 Brothers: Royce and Boyd Clark


Her Family Includes,


2 Sons: Melvin Shane (Shannon) Phillips of Cookeville. And Shawn (Mary) Phillips of Cookeville.


4 Grandchildren: Melanie Phillips, Emily Chambers, Nathan Phillips and Amanda Phillips


6 Great Grandchildren: Carly Phillips, Emma Farley, Maikalee Phillips, Bryson Phillips, Grey Chambers and Coen Chambers


1 Sister: Rita Kay Davis of Hilham

Our hearts are broken to hear about Joyce. She was a precious lady and a very good friend to us. Joyce will be missed greatly in Spring City. We are very sorry for your loss.
