I am deeply saddened by the loss of your wife. She will be truly missed and I will include you and your family in my daily prayers. I worked with Joyce for many years in District 13 Ps 133.> She was a great friend who motivated me to become a teacher. She was always kind to me and I enjoyed her bubbly personality. This sweet soul will be missed

Joyce was a gifted, talented teacher and mentor. She was first and foremost a devoted wife and mother. She cared for her mom for many years. I first met her at IS 51 in the early 80's and we became friends.
She guided me through my AP and Principal licenses with her expertise and vast knowledge of NYCDOE procedures.
Joe, John Paul, and Joshua and your families, you are in my prayers at this truly difficult time. May you Rest In Peace my friend. And may God reward you for all...

This lady had the passion needed to instill
higher education goals for all she met.
My thoughts go out to her loving family in these difficult days.

I had the privilege of having Joyce as a dedicated and inspirational colleague, who was always willing to share her insights and expertise. I also learned of her roles as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who valued and enjoyed her time spent with her family. The video is evidence of this and serves as a beautiful and touching tribute to her exuberant spirit and warm smile. She will be missed but will live on in the collective memories of her family and friends. Rest in Peace, Joyce!

I was very happy to have meet you. Sorry we didnt have more time together. You were the light of your family and for all the light will always be on.
