Not sure what to say?

As the anniversary of Ms. Rokitka's death uproaches, I wanted to leave a note of thanks to one of my favorite people, my favorite teacher, Ms. Rokitka. I'm sad that I was not able to attend her memorial service and felt terrible when I learned of her death years after she had passed.

I'm grateful that I was able to stay in touch with her for many years. I was even able to award her a grant for one of her teaching projects shortly before her retirement. It was well deserved. She...

I will remember Miss Rokitka as my 5th grade student teacher, many years ago! She was a remarkable teacher and role model. She touched my life and has obviously touched many lives! She has left quite a legacy!Rest in peace.

I was very sad to hear of the loss of Miss Rokitka. When I think of my favorite teachers, I always think of her. She ALWAYS made learning fun. Her smile and laughter will always be something i remember. Rest in Peace Miss Rokitka. Thank you for being part of my life.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of my favorite teacher, Miss Rokitka. I can still remember her love of Robert Redford, Kermit the Frog and writing with a ruler! She was an amazing influence in my life and such a wonderful, amazing teacher that I am now telling my kids (aged 7 and 5) all about having her for the 5th grade. May she rest in peace and may her family find comfort knowing that she is home. God Bless. Erica Rabenhorst (Lipowski)

I am very sad to hear of the passing of Ms Rokitka. Like so many people who's entries I have read, I was lucky enough to have her in my life as my 5th grade teacher. She had my siblings before me and was there for all of us when my mom passed in '72. I was 7,my sister 8 and my brother John 11. She was our rock during that very difficult time. May she rest in peace. It would be difficult to find another teacher so gifted and one who has touched so many lives. We were the lucky ones.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. Miss Rokitka was an amazing teacher and person. She touched so many lives, and will be greatly missed.

There will be an empty place in the hearts of many whose lives were touched by Judy. Judy honored all of life by the way she loved those who shared it with her. She will be warmly remembered and deeply missed. God has his "Angel" back and she will rest in peace.

So sorry to hear about Miss Rokitka. She was also my 5th grade teacher as well. A great teacher. Also remember seeing her with her mom at mass through the years.
My thoughts and prayers are with her family. May she rest in peace.

Thank you for having such an impact on my life. There will always be a special place for you in my heart. I will always remember coming to your house to visit for years well after I was your student. You helped me become the person I am today and will always be grateful. You will be dearly missed.
