Judy Burk Obituary
She was a member of Bluegrass Vanners 2%.
She is survived by her husband, Matt Burk Sr.; children, Matthew Burk Jr. and Jewels Lily Burk; parents, John and Lidija Palesh; sister, Jennifer Eckhart (JayDee); and 12 nieces and nephews.
Her service will be 6 p.m. Thursday at the W. G. Hardy Funeral Home and Cremation Service with cremation to follow. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday.

My heart goes out to the family and friends who loved Judy so much! I'm confident Jesus is hurting as much as those left behind. He didn't leave us stranded though- he promises that if we cast our burden upon him he will sustain us! My prayers are with you.

My prayers go out to the entire family. I am heartbroken with the news, and can only hope for her memory to live on in our hearts. My last memory of Judy was seeing her wearing patent leather shoes and adorable dresses in church. We witnessed her finger being caught in the door, and our hearts went out when she had an injury. I send my love to her parents, sister, children, and extended family. Love is never lost, but lives on in our hearts forever. God bless all of you.

Judy was my step daughter since the late '80's. When i met Judy, she was 100% Canadian with long curly dark hair. I had never seen so much hair.
When she passed away, her dad and i were given two trees to plant in her memory. John made a plaque (see photo). There will always be a place for Judy in Canada.

We love you very much, and are so saddened by losing our first niece. I have such great memories growing up with Judy and Jennifer and will cherish them forever. We are still praying for you all.

My dear neice, it's so sad to hear that your life has been taken so early. There are always so many "whys" when a person departs from this life and I can't help think the same for you.
We had many wonderful years together when you & Jenn were little. We loved you like our own children and taught you about God and hopefully that seed had a chance to grow in you.

I am thinking of you Judy as you pass on to the next journey in the sky. Although we were not that close I truly enjoyed all the events that we got to spend time together. I keep hearing Judy's laugh, just kinda off to the side of my ear, just over my shoulder.....
Like a star, she shone bright and brought light to this world in the form of love and laughter. I will always remember your joy Judy, and am so glad I was just a tiny part of your life.

I still can't believe you're gone. I know we had not been close in recent years but I always wanted the best for you. You were much like the brightest star in the sky. Something special to marvel at but your light faded too soon. I hope all who knew you will be a little comforted thinking of all the good times they got with you. I know I will never forget your laugh, your smile or any of our long talks. And especially I will not forget your ability to hold dear, all the small things in life. A million keepsakes to remember the millions of good times. It always seemed silly to me but how precious they are now. You were completely one of a kind.
