Not sure what to say?

I taught with him many years at Nooksack Elementary. I haven't seen him since he retired. He was a great friend. Sorry to hear that he died.

Im sorry to see Juilan has passed on. He was such a sweet man. He was a neighbor and friend. Always helping and full of wisdom. He will be missed in the Columbia neighborhood and to his many students, family and friends.

Mr. Hansen was one of my favorite teachers. When I was in 6th grade, he had a book of Norman Rockwell art. I read it every day. So on the last day of class, he wrote a note in it and at graduation he showed up and gave me that book. I had coffee / lunch with him a few times after leaving Nooksack. I wish we had stayed more in touch in the last 10 years.... RIP to a great teacher and great human!

I first met Julian about 1989 when he was on my oldest son Sean's newspaper route. He introduced his two cats to us, Riff and Raff and we always made sure to stop and pet them while visiting with Julian.
Many years later we moved from Lynn Street to Cherry Street and I would run into him at Meridian Haggen.
He never forgot Sean and always asked how he was doing.
He was such a kind, caring man. I will miss him and his smile ❤

Julian was indeed a beautiful soul. He touched many people in ways that make the world better. He cherished relationships, and could see the real beauty in people. Our friendship was only in the past few years, but it was a gift. And i am thankful for that. See you again my friend

Julian is a beautiful soul. We once shared season tickets to Husky football, the occasional barstool at Dick's and our love of books. He introduced me to Tuck Everlasting and I gave him Gift From the Sea. He loved his summer trips to the ocean with his family! I will forever cherish the poem Julian wrote for me and will hold him fondly in memory. Sincere condolences to all who knew and loved this wonderful man.

Mr. Hansen was a great person; I enjoyed having him as a teacher for two years; he actually had my daughter one year. I loved it when I ran into him in Bellingham, always a pleasant surprise.
