Julie Garwood

Julie Garwood was a wonderful story teller. She has given us hours and hours of "escape" into worlds where love is possible. My extended family love her works. I can't tell you how many times I, family and friends have read and reread her books, just because they make us feel good. Thank you Julie. Your LIGHT continues to shine.

Today is Feb. 17, 2025 and I just learned of my favorite author's death. I just returned home from nearly 2 years in forms of rehab and anxious to re-read my Garwood books. I've read them over and over, at least 12 times and I never get tired of them. My 1st one was "The Bride" and I couldn't stop laughing. That book is coming apart & I'm holding it together by tape & rubber bands but it will NOT get thrown away. I think I have them all but the last one; "Grace" and I'll hunt that up. I...

I am so sad to hear of Julie's passing. I like many people started reading Julie's novels and fell in love with every story. My first book was Heartbreaker, and from this one book I began reading every book that Julie wrote. I looked forward every month to hear of her latest release, couldn't wait for it to be published. Julie's writing gave me so much pleasure and enjoyment and led me to other Romance writers that I have been reading for the past 24 years. I send my sincere condolences...

I am so sorry to hear of the death of Julie Garwood. She will forever be remembered for her stories. I was looking up to see if she released a new book and found this. I have so enjoyed her books several I have read up to at least 10 times. She was my favorite author. I will miss getting on and see where she is headed with her next stories. She will always be my favorite writer.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I hadn't yet gotten her latest book so was looking it up and found this news. Her stories were, are, and will always be my absolute favorite!!!

I am so saddened by her death, I just found out. I emailed her once, telling her how much I admired her and all her books. I have read them over and over and had to rebuy most. She emailed me back, what a wonderful woman! It is a treasured email! I am so sorry for your family's loss.

I have every book Julie Garwood wrote, including a personally autographed one. She will be missed by all her fans, which include many.

I was wondering why I hadn’t seen a new book written by Mrs. Bar wood in a well, so I Googled her.
That’s when I saw that she had passed away. I’m so sad about her passing. I loved her books and have read and saved all but 12. I’m going to order them and read every one. My condolences to her family. I know she will be greatly missed.

I loved your writing. Your characters were believable and relatable. Friends and I would read your books and discuss the characters as if they were also friends and real people. Too many favorites to even mention one individually. I know we didn't know each other in real life but through your characters I feel we were friends. I will miss you immensely. Your books brought me joy, laughter and took me on adventures. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
