Many years ago, before her liver transplant, I met Julie through mutual friends and went on a few group trips together, like Key West and Atlantic City. We instantly connected - she and I had the same sense of humor. Sadly we lost touch of each other due to distance; after all, this was before social networking. Even though I only met her a handful of times, she had an impact on me. For some reason, I thought about her today and wondered how she was doing, and decided to look her up. ...

I am so sad to hear this news about Julie. She was a classmate of mine at the University of Maryland. I remember her contagious laugh and spirit like it was yesterday. My deepest sympathy to her family, friends and loved ones. I am so sorry for your loss.
