November 21, 1917 – February 21, 2015





CLAYTON: June Peterson Brandtley Leonard, age 97, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield.



Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM Monday, February 23, 2015 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home. Entombment will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at the Pinecrest Memorial Park Mausoleum.



She was a native of Johnston County and the daughter of the late J. A. Peterson and Ellen Elizabeth Davis Peterson.



She is survived by her three children, Patsy Brantley Stine, Nancy Brantley and Smith Winston Brantley; one granddaughter, Rachel Stine Long; two great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; one step-daughter Julie Hayes.



The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.



Memorials may be made to either SECU Hospice Home in Smithfield or to Believer’s Baptist Church Building Fund.
