Not sure what to say?

My dad, Morris Rowley, was a counselor to Stake President Child. If mom and dad were alive, they surely would have sent their love and fond memories. Our whole family loved and admired the Child's and appreciated their great example and leadership. Once, Pres. Child participated at basketball with us. He couldn't miss a shot, and put us teenage "athletes" to shame. Clearly, he was on target for all the other important things in life. Jan, our hearts and condolences go out to you and yours.

Ron and I are so sorry for your loss. We had a chance to get to know your father when we visited my brother, Stephen, in Arizona. What a sweet Godly man. Very intelligent and with a cute sense of humor and boy did he know the Lord. What a blessing he is to all.

President Child was my Mission President for the first part of my mission. He and Sister Child had boundless amounts of energy which became contagious to all the Elders. He was most definately a guiding force in my life, which have brought about good things and many spiritual blessings. My condolences and best wishes to all the family.

He and his wife, Joan, were wonderful...
